Looking for a fun affordable Valentine’s Day craft to do with your children or daycare children?  Well, as some of you know I run a part-time home daycare and thought I would share with you a craft that the children enjoyed doing this week.

Purchase all you need at a Dollar Store

You will need:
Mini flower pots – 5 for a buck
Potting foam – one should do-cost a buck
Sticker felt hearts – pink $ red hearts for a buck a bag
Mini straws – 50 straws for a buck
Wooden heart stickers – a buck a bag

You can save lots of money on sandwich and freezer bags. All you have to do is wash out and keep your milk bags. Not the bag that carries the 3 milk bags. Just the thick individual bags. I wash and dry them right away to avoid water stains on them.

You can use these to store left overs, kids lunches, Save when buying a large roast on sale and slice it into steaks.Then freeze them in your milk bags. There are so many things you can use them for. I am sure you already have an idea.

Have you ever wondered if there was an easy and cheap way to remove old wall paper? Well there is! I will give you the ingredients that is sure to work on even the oldest most toughest wallpaper.

My Grandmother told me about this. When i moved into my house and it had the oldest wallpaper on it, that i didn’t think was going to be an easy job coming off. This stuff worked!

You will need:

A large bowl
A liter of Hot Water
Half a litre of Fleecy or Downy
A sponge

That’s it!

Valentine’s Day on a budget

You don’t have to spend a fortune on Valentine’s Day to have an enjoyable evening with your man. You and your man with the kids in bed early works great!

Men like to be pampered just like woman do. So anything you can think of, no matter how small or how big.

Lower lights in the evening with some candles
Make a seafood dish
Wear something sexy yet comfortable
Have some wine
Some oils
Rent a romantic movie
Place mini candles around the bath room and bathtub, lower the lights. Have it ready for when your man gets off work.
Go through the photo album of the years or months you have been together and the fun times, with more to come.
